Terms of Service

Koven is a feedback management platform for product teams. Teams create public boards where users can submit ideas, vote on requests, and track status. When a status changes, Koven automatically emails every voter. Koven also provides a public roadmap view.

By accessing or using Koven, you agree to these Terms. You must be at least 18 years old. If you are using Koven on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company.

We own all intellectual property rights in the Services, including the Koven name, logo, design, and software. You may use the Services for your own business purposes only. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

You retain ownership of content you submit. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and transmit it as needed to operate the Services.

By using Koven, you represent that you are at least 18 years old, have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms, are not in a country subject to a US government embargo, and that all information you provide is accurate.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use at support@koven.page.

You may not use Koven to violate any applicable law, submit fake or automated votes, infringe intellectual property rights, upload malicious code, engage in unauthorised scraping, impersonate others, harass anyone, or damage or overload the Services. Violations may result in immediate termination without refund.

Our Services may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

By using Koven, you agree to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

We may terminate or suspend your account for violation of these Terms, unresolved payment failure after 14 days, or as required by law. You may cancel at any time via the billing portal in your workspace settings. On termination, your workspace data is retained for 30 days to allow export, then permanently deleted.

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. A 14-day free trial is available on paid plans with no charge if cancelled before the trial ends. Subscriptions automatically renew. Refunds are available within 14 days of your first payment; contact support@koven.page.

We may change plan pricing with at least 30 days' notice. If you do not accept the new price, you may cancel before the change takes effect.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Services at any time. We will email workspace owners at least 30 days before any discontinuation. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

The governing law and jurisdiction for these Terms will be updated once Koven is formally registered. In the meantime, any dispute will be handled in good faith through direct communication. Contact us at support@koven.page before taking any formal action.

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KOVEN'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 6 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) $100 USD. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Koven harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Services, violation of these Terms, or violation of any third-party rights.

You are solely responsible for all data you transmit through the Services. We shall have no liability for any loss or corruption of data. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.
